Aspiring to be a successful fashion designer as well as modelling her own creations, Nikita is best described as a warm, friendlyand cheerful extrovert who loves travelling and meeting new people.

Nikita sees the Sunsilk Femina Miss India as an opportunity to enhance her confidence. She also looks upon it as a great learning experience. Needless to add, winning it would be a dream come true.

Singing, reading and sports such as badminton and swimming are amongst her favourite things.

'Beauty to me is one's true self and character... for it is only this which eventually reflects on the outside,' says Nikita.

Nikita loves modelling and has also done fashion shows for NIFT, Shaw Wallace, Burlingtons. However, her interest in the fashion industry goes a bit deeper. She is also a pursuing a degree in fashion designing and Information Technology. She dreams of becoming a successful fashion designer and modelling her own creation.

Nikita is not alone in her quest to fulfil her dreams. "I look up to my mother for her never ending support… and for making me believe in my dreams," she adds.

On a blind date you would go out with: Being a blind date , I wouldn't know who I would be going out with, but I would like to go out with someone who is intelligent, chivaleous and with humor.

Favourite Night activity: Reading a novel & listening to music.

Terrified of: Lizards because they remind me of Crocodiles.

Recurring dream: Enjoying myself on a beach in hawaii.
